The brief

An online awareness campaign highlighting that Dorling Kindersley are aware of the current and future threats to the book publishing industry. Without specifying details it was essential to leave the audience with the feeling that DK understood the situation, felt positive, and knew what they were doing.

The solution

A clever and poignant script, written and voiced from a younger person’s point of view and using the palindrome technique, drives home the emotional connection with books, and presents both sides of the ‘for and against’ argument for their survival.
